COVID-19 Test Kits Will NOT Be Sent to PMBs

The Biden administration recently announced its program for Americans to request free at-home Covid-19 test kits from the US Postal Service—this is a federal program which seems to exclude PMBs as valid residencies. These free at-home COVID-19 tests can be ordered on www.covidtests.gov. Limit of 1 order per household. Each order contains 4 individual tests.

A letter from Pony…

We are all feeling concerned about the spread of COVID-19 and are struggling to adjust our lifestyles to minimize exposure and spread to those around us. With that in mind, Pony Mailing is also adjusting to minimize exposure both to our employees and to our valued customers. We are continuing with our cleaning protocols and regularly wiping down copiers and countertops. We will be wiping down our outside and inside door handles, our mailboxes, etc. Basically anything we or the customer can touch will be wiped down regularly with Lysol spray.

At the same time, we ask our customers to help control those things that you can. If you have any symptoms of respiratory illness, even if you think it is a lingering cough from a previous illness, please do what you can to avoid any group situation to include going to retail establishments. We understand that some of our customers may need our services but feel uncomfortable with coming into the store during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are thinking of our customers that are not sick but are in a high-risk group such as our seniors, or those with an underlying health condition. We can take your drop-off packages from your car if you would like to call us when you arrive, as customer volumes permit. We will not be responsible, however, if you just leave your package outside.

We will keep our customers informed about any changes that UPS, FedEx, USPS, or DHL are making to minimize the effect of the virus on their employees. Changes are being announced dialing at all levels of society and we will do our best to stay abreast of changes.

We are thankful for each and every one of you that choose Pony Mailing for you packing and shipping needs. We feel a deep sense of responsibility toward you and toward keeping our store free from the COVID-19 virus.
